This heater has no components that are not absolutely necessary. Since you can't 'see' the heat, we added an LED temp switch to the top of the unit. When this LED is lit, the heater is hot! No guessing if it is working or not. Easily seen via web cam or in person.

LED lights within the housing illuminate the area below the heaters for convenience. Embedded in silicone, these LEDs are waterproof so you can power wash these heaters without any problems! Just be sure to let the unit cool before spraying it down.
